Žitko
Žitko company with its headquarters in Bačka Topola, is part of Verano Group since 2003. The company was founded in 1948, by joining eight small mills in Bačka Topola district. Žitko has three mills with the total production capacity of around 115, 000 tonnes per year and pasta factory with the capacity of around 7,500 tonnes per year.
More than 25 types of products are being made by corn dry and wheat milling. The company is especially proud of producing healthy fat-free types of pasta, for which they have received numerous awards.
